Want the resort beach without booking a room there? Mangroves is the way in. It sits at the south end of Jolly Beach inside Jolly Beach Resort, serving cocktails and food from afternoon into evening, seven days a week.

For years it was guests-only. Now anyone staying in Jolly Harbour can walk in, and bingo nights plus live music keep people coming back.

My husband and I have walked down the beach for drinks during happy hour several times, so we decided to try it for dinner. The fried fish with fries and coleslaw was delicious. The curry roti was excellent. Our server was friendly, and you can't beat the atmosphere. It is right on the beach. We'll be back!

Called in for a sundowner during their happy hour. Drinks were reasonably priced and there is also a cheaper Happy Hour menu. It is currently at the end of the season but the place was empty with little atmosphere. Staff were OK but not overly welcoming on this visit. The setting is amazing though right on the beach with a perfect view of the sunset. It would probably have been a better experience earlier in the season.

A fantastic location on Jolly Beach with a fun, festive atmosphere! Our hard-working waitress provided friendly and decent service. Inexpensive beach bar food.
