Tacos and tequila land in Jolly Harbour's new Pavilion

Los Cabrones landed in Jolly Harbour's new Commercial Village Pavilion first, before the Texas Smokehouse and Mongoose & Marlin joined the same block. It's the same tacos-and-margaritas format that built its name on the other coast: bold Mexican flavours and a full tequila list.

The original is still slinging tacos in English Harbour on Dockyard Drive, running since 2024. This west coast branch just gives Jolly Harbour its own tequila bar.

We will be back 🤤 A chilled setting beside the marina, watching the boats dock, we thought we'd give Los Cabrones a try. Of course we'd read the reviews which are always a little hit and miss but we thought we'd give it a try plus the husband really fancied Mexican food, and really pleased to say this place didn't disapoint, worth trying. Food: We went for the Macho Nacho's with shedded beef, as a starter (meant to be) this was banging decent portion too, then i had the chicken quesadilla nice but the sauces made it otherwise quite bland, the husband had the chicken burrito and a portion of Papas chingonas with shedded beef and again all of this was delicious 😋 couldnt not try a bit of everything. All very filling but glad we ordered all of the above, as the burrito and quesadilla alone wouldn't have filled us. Venue: Beside the marina nice little spot beside the English bar (which was closed in the evening when we visited). Looks like there will be a few more pop ups beside this venue coming soon... Ok so after you go to the bar and order they give you a buzzer to return when its ready. The food is given to you in a take away box with plastic cutlery. While we didn't mind i can see why some people would and have said their disappointed in their reviews; but hey were on the marina and some people want a takeaway to get back on their boats or to even go home and eat. Plus its a pop up not a full blown restaurant they wont have time to wash dishes ect so this is suitable for them and most people. Also there isnt any table sevice, you go to the bar to order and you clean up after yourself as you should do, bins are close by, and hey $250Ec for the above and 2 beers not going to complain at all. Staff was pleasant enough too, seemed a bit rushed compared to other venues, but the wait wasnt long for the food maybe 10mins all in, so not complaining at all. I did order the rum punch and sadly the only thing i would give a miss it was tasteless so avoid plus blue sugar around the glass pointless. Just one for the owner really. Would we visit again hell yes, food was 10/10 🤤😁 Place offers chilled vibes, most importantly good food what more could you want from a mexican in antigua 🇦🇬 😋 Keep up the good work.👍🏻🙌🏻

I come here all of the time and it is by far my top 3 fav places to eat in Antigua!! The staff are so friendly and the ingredients are always fresh. They put a lot of care into their services and it shows 😍👏👏

We had a fishing charter right on the marina and chef Mike created an amazing meal with the fresh fish we caught. We have come back every night to enjoy music, food and the atmosphere. Planning to meet chef for breakfast in the morning!! 100% recommend

Okay, we are from somewhere known for good Mexican food, so my expectations were pretty low going in. I’m happy to report that we were pleasantly surprised. The food here was so good! Our favorites were the nachos with pork pastor (can’t wait to go back for these!) and the shrimp street tacos. Get the fresh pineapple juice to wash it down.
