Specialty coffee inside the Kavanagh building
Cora took a unit inside the Kavanagh, the 1936 tower that was once South America's tallest building, and fit a specialty café into it. The espresso is the strongest argument for stopping in.
Mar del Plata alfajores and organic cheese sit next to the pastry counter. It's at the Florida end near Plaza San Martín, so treat it as a stop rather than a destination.

Beautiful place and delicious food, I highly recommend it. I especially appreciated the excellent service from the waiter. My only suggestion is that the barista service could be a bit faster. The other day we went for our morning coffee and it took quite a while to arrive. There were only three tables in the entire café, and only two of them were being served. Hopefully, next time the coffee will be a bit quicker, as many of us don't get in a good mood until after the first sip of coffee, haha.

It's a small bar on the ground floor of the famous Cavanagh Building. It has about seven tables. They serve various types of coffee, but no tea. Oh well, patience. We had a mild cortado and an Americano. Well-made, carefully selected. The place is small and nicely decorated. We were out of water, but then two other customers came in and the waitress brought them one. (?) Buy more, folks, because there are tables for 14 people... The menu is small and offers a few lunch options. Prices are high, and yes, high, but we're not in London. Hmmm! Maybe it's trendy for some people, but it didn't impress me. They post the menu and prices online. Nothing more to say than what precedes.

From the very beginning of the project, I fell in love with Cora. Creating a café in such an iconic and majestic building as the Kavanagh is incredible and impressive. It's also exciting to visit because they always have some event or exhibition to explore. The place is small, cozy, and serene. You can work, study, chat, or simply enjoy a coffee without a care in the world. Even the outside noise isn't too intrusive, which helps. My favorite spot is the bar stool; it's comfortable, and you can be closer to the food being served and prepared. The use of the mirror is beautiful, as are the lamps, the columns, the vintage record players (vinyl and cassette), the magazines that tell the story of the building or about gastronomy, and all the other decorative elements that make it absolutely gorgeous. The coffee is exquisite, made even better by the baristas' work, both the espresso and the filter coffee. I always enjoy the coffee I order or am offered—when I'm not sure what to have—and it's even better when they make it with oat milk. The pastries are equally delicious; my favorites are the lemon bar and the carrot cake. The food is just as good, fresh, and filling. The yogurt, the avocado toast, and the baguette with cheese and ham are delicious. Highly recommended, any time of day. They even excel at plating. Finally, the service from the staff is excellent. They are friendly, patient, and attentive to detail. Thank you all for what you do. Cora is another little haven where I can find refuge with a good cup of coffee.

Great Coffee, Warm Welcome, Relaxing Jazz Background Music and Minimalist Contemporary Design.....the right combination for succes Background music quality was exceptional, also thanks to a beautiful vintage B&O sound installation, and oh by the way in the basement of this coffee shop was also a small exhibition of hand made designer bags.....quite interesting too ! Definitely a venue we will return to when visiting Buenos Aires next and highlly recommended to those after a great coffee in a perfect environment
