A pastry counter that runs the show on Güemes

Skip the menu, look at the counter. Diletta is a pastelería first and a café second, and the trays out front are where you decide what you're having, not the other way round.

It's on the Paseo Güemes strip, so it doubles as the afternoon stop between bars. The room is small and fills up fast at merienda time, so go a little early if you want a table.

Great intimate coffee place. We stayed across the street and came in every morning to start the day with a light breakfast. They also lovely cakes.

Good service and delicious pastries... It's a shame the enclosed area is so small, with only two small tables... The rest of the tables are outside, and in winter it's impossible to enjoy a coffee and cake while suffering from the cold... Perhaps they should consider installing outdoor heaters.

A little piece of Italy in the heart of Salta ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I walked into this pastry shop and felt right at home, in Italy. Finding such authentic quality in Salta is rare: from the impeccable coffee made with Italian beans by an Italian machine, to the incredible focaccia, to the simply fabulous homemade desserts. I truly felt at home, surrounded by authentic aromas and flavors. The place is a true gem, decorated with incredible taste, but the real highlight is the staff: so sweet, delightful, and incredibly welcoming. A heart-warming experience. Highly recommended! Thank you for bringing a little bit of my homeland here to Argentina!
