Thought the missus and myself would take a trip out west to peep the hype, let me tell ya folks it didn't disappoint. Got the meatball sub and the Philly cheese steak. Both were very nice, the meat was tender and of course, delicious. Very nice, job well done with that one. Kudos

4.5 stars is around the mark - the sandwiches are packed with meats and bread is spot on. The philly cheese steak was actual steak no cheap off cuts and was very tender and moist. Service was quick and staff friendly.

Called in here after seeing this place in passing in my work truck! Was out on the motorcycle and thought 💭 let’s have a sandwich! The food was very fresh, but was out of my favourite Tuna, the service was spot on, clean tables clean beaches, was a good spot to stop for lunch. A bit off background music would be nice, overall I would recommend a try for yourself.

Great little eatery with amazing Philly cheesesteak subs, I got mine with pickles and chipotle sauce and it was quite tasty. The steak was soft with plenty of pepper flavour. The service was great, I think I got there at a quiet period which probably isn't helped with the amount of road works that surround the place. The staff were attentive and brought out the subs in a timely manner. The only downside would be the cost, I understand why they're priced the way they are but it's definitely not a frivolous lunch place to be a repeat customer to, definitely worthwhile checking out if you're in the area though.

Having seen Gabagool on my socials quite frequently, I made a trip out of my way to come try it for myself. Perhaps I had hyped it up in my mind too much, but the cheese steak was perfectly average. Steak was a little tough but not unbearable, and the bread was soft but lacked much character. A little underseasoned for my personal taste, which may have gone a long way in helping the sandwich go from good to great. The people claiming it's the worst they've ever had are being insanely hyperbolic - this sandwich shop stands tall amongst the giants in Adelaide. The deli is laid out nicely, with an appealing New York style aesthetic. Service was quick and the counter staff were friendly and helpful. Their cookies absolutely slap, my god - this was one of the best I've ever had. I'd argue it's worth the trip for one of these alone. I'd be keen to try their other offerings so I'll be back, but overall the cheese steak didn't blow me away as I'd hoped it would. I'm sure their fresh deli meat sandwiches offer a very different eating experience so I'll try one of those next time. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area, but Adelaide's sandwich shop competition is stiff, and perhaps I have come to expect an unrealistic expectation.
