The Albion bakery worth the queue

Get there before eight on Saturday or you'll be waiting behind half of Albion for the sourdough and laminated pastry. Both are worth it, and the queue moves faster than it looks.

Ruby's Wine Shop is a few doors down for after, and Albion station is close enough to turn this into a proper train trip.

The pastries are simply outstanding and are incredibly well made. The coffee is also very delicious. This is a great example of a cafe offering a small selection, done with intention and with a focus on creating their menu VERY well.. as opposed to offering a huge variety and the quality mediocre. 10/10 recommend. Well done Time and Temp!

I know they are famous for their batch brew but as a milk coffee gal I kind of wish they had an option to add milk. When I asked if they would heat up the pastries if we opted for dine-in the server said no in a slightly condescending tone. The pastries here use a cross-lamination technique so I enjoyed the shattery crisp exterior. I really wish the ham and cheese one was heated up as it did taste a little stale but I really enjoyed the smoky heat of the harissa, I do wish there was more ham and Comte filling though. The one with quince and coconut rice pudding was quite unique, it had this subtle nutty flavour. I actually wish the pastry was slightly sweeter but I think it is perfect for those who don’t want an overly indulgent treat.

Our favourite Brisbane bakery. Obsessed is an understatement. The food is to die for and we love trying new coffee beans each time we visit. If you haven’t tried Time and Temp already, you’re missing out!

Batchies and pastries - the best combination of all time. Unfortunately on my visit the plain croissants were sold out. They're always a must for me especially when trying somewhere new. Just means I'll have to make my way back soon - because everything else we had was delightfully crispy, crunchy and oh so good.

We drove an hour to try their pastries and coffee and can say it was worth it 👌🏻 Thanks to the power couple behind this small business for the warm welcome! We came for the flaky bread and creative flavours that stand out in their pastry offerings. We stayed for the amazing quality of filter coffee from the master brewer. Ordered an iced decaf pourover and it blew my mind -- no bitterness, just clean, fruity goodness. They often change their pastry and coffee menu so we're looking forward to coming back. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating.
