Brunos

A Pinzgau café's Salzburg outpost, named after the owners' miniature poodle
Brunos opened on Untersbergstraße in Riedenburg in July 2025, bringing the recipe of Café Chic in Mittersill, a fixture in the Pinzgau region, into the city. The café-bistro-bar hybrid takes its name from Bruno, a miniature poodle who acts as the place's unofficial host, and keeps the cinnamon rolls, cakes, and tarts that built the Mittersill original's following.
The space runs from morning coffee to evening drinks. A garden terrace behind an older building gives it a quieter, more residential feel than the tourist cafés of the old town.

Cute Café with lovely courtyard, very friendly service staff. Just had a homemade lemonade & omelette, but the cakes looked delish

Best Matcha in town! Great service and lovely atmosphere. During the spring/summer months outdoor seating is available. All ingredients used are of fantastic quality. Highly recommend to everyone looking for a mouthwatering breakfast/brunch, relaxed afternoon coffee and pastry or delicious drinks.
