Alessandro and Angelos reopened this Griesgasse café

KAVA reopened on April 1, 2026 on Griesgasse, taking over a space that ran under a different name before. The new owners go publicly by their first names only, Alessandro and Angelos, and stripped the concept back to coffee and pastries instead of a full menu.

The spot sits a few steps from the Salzach riverbank in the old town, open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5:30pm. Works for a quick espresso or a slower sit down with something sweet.
