Local & Co's dessert spinoff, gluten-free options built in

Suga Mama runs ice cream, cakes and pastries with gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free options built into the regular menu, not treated as an afterthought. It's a dessert-and-coffee spinoff from the Local & Co team, filling a gap the town's dinner-heavy scene left open.

The cafe revamped its shop and menu shortly after opening to sharpen the concept. It's caught on fast, enough that visitors fold in a stop on the same walk as Local & Co and Orange Street Grocer.
