Two friends, one shared love of wine and cooking
Sommelier Pieter Van Mele and chef Louis Van Goethem had been friends before they were business partners, and Django reads like it: wine and food built together rather than one serving the other.
The room on Lange Leemstraat in Zurenborg is small and personal, the kind of bistro where the two friends' shared obsession shows in every glass poured and plate sent out.

Well, it's officially a wine bistro, but the bavette was so good that I would happily go back even if they only served water. And the wine was good too. Great place.

A very lovely place with delicious, French-inspired cuisine. We have been there twice already and were hugely impressed each time by the friendliness and the quality of the dishes. There is also a very fine selection of good wines. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful wine bistro! A hit on every level: great atmosphere, very friendly service, and delicious food. In addition to fantastic wines, they also have a very nice beer list, so there is something for everyone. Enjoyed it from start to finish!

Must visit! 4th visit I think? As usual very attentive service, excellent food and a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. We came later than standard lunch hours (arrived at 14h) and we could still choose everything, no bother at all. Wine advice on point. We tried the fish with thai curry, which sounded a little strange but was a beautiful plate and tasted great, and the Salade Folle, with chicken, duck & beuling. 10/10 would recommend. Senna & I will be back ;)
