A coffee bar named for the owner's grandfather

Charlotte Van De Vijver spent seven years behind the counter at koffiebar Or, then nearly four more at Den Hoek Af, before opening her own place on Annonciadenstraat. She named it Menu, after her grandfather Yves.

That kind of apprenticeship shows in the cup. The space used to hold Bar Beenhouwer, now quietly hers.
