Leuven's first AI-mixed cocktails, on Oude Markt

Gossip opened on Oude Markt in February 2025 with a claim to be Leuven's first cocktail bar with an automated shaker. Scan a QR code, pick your drink, and a machine measures and shakes it to order.

Behind the gimmick sits a straightforward gastrobar menu: sharing bites, grilled dishes, and wine. Open daily from noon into the early hours.

Quiet but cozy café, smack dab in the busiest corner of the Oude Markt. A true gastrobar with cocktails, good wine, and an extensive food menu, yet with the prices of a regular café: a pint costs €3 (you won't find it cheaper anywhere these days, unfortunately), but I've seen it temporarily reduced to €2.50 or even €1.50 on several special evenings. The special sauce with the ribs is fantastic, by the way. A friend of mine asked the chef what was in it, but it turned out to be a secret recipe. Something with red wine and cinnamon, I think. The potato wedges are also delicious, and for €4.50 you get a very large portion. A new regular stop on the Oude Markt to add to my list.

Friendly atmosphere with a great ambience and quick service to relax and change your mood. There Cocktail machine is one of the unique one. My wife and me tried the Cocktail with passion fruit and it was really superb in taste 👌. A surely Go Again place.

Very kind and friendly owner. Good drinks. And clean bathrooms (always important). I also added a (bad) picture of their cocktail machine. I've never seen that before. It perfectly makes all kinds of cocktails. So quality is guaranteed!!!
