Natural wine and small plates in a Copenhagen-style room

Margo Voets opened Slō on Naamsestraat to slow down Leuven's dining scene. The minimalist, Copenhagen-inspired space serves a seasonal small-plates menu built around the wine list, pairing natural and classic bottles rather than competing with the food.

Guest chefs take over the kitchen for themed nights, including pizza evenings, and the bar now pulls in visitors from well beyond Leuven, plenty of whom show up despite having no reason to think of the city as a student town.
