An unmarked door, a hidden bar, real cocktails

Find the unmarked door on the second floor of Bermudiana Arcade and you've found Hamilton's only real speakeasy. No sign, no crowd out front, just word of mouth pointing you up the stairs.

Inside it's craft cocktails in a small, dim room, open Wednesday through Saturday evenings. After years of open terraces and pub bars being the only nightlife in town, this is the first place built for people who actually want to disappear for a night.

Good to know

• It's genuinely hidden, behind an unmarked door on the arcade's second floor, so ask if you can't find it.
• Open Wednesday to Saturday only.
