BROWN Coffee, Seaview
★ 4.4 · 1,075 reviews Sihanoukville Opened Opening date unknown
Cambodia's homegrown coffee chain, minus the mall, plus a sea view
BROWN Coffee built its name in Phnom Penh in 2009 by hiring and training students from Cambodia's provinces. It's since become one of the country's most recognizable local brands, with dozens of branches across Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and now Sihanoukville, all sharing the same modern-Khmer look.
The Seaview branch skips the usual downtown mall spot for a seat right on Ochheuteal Beach. It's one of the few BROWN locations built around an ocean view instead of office foot traffic.

The view is cool but everything else about it is bad. There's no food, only drinks. No services, you have to come up and get your own with the beeper things. And for some reason it's packed, so you have to queue, it's all a big rush and it's hard to find a seat. Usually love brown but no was would I go back to this one.

Not my favourite but it’s on the beach so I like it. No food offered apart from some pastry which does not look good on display. A lot of outdoor seating but just a few tables indoors. Can get busy.

Nice view, great coffee, plenty of seats — a perfect morning spot for photos and a relaxed start.

It’s great having a coffee spot overlooking Otres Beach, and while Brown isn’t my favourite café chain, it’s basically what Cambodia has to offer. The croissants are usually limp, and the menu—though inventive on paper—is often poorly executed. But despite those shortcomings, this particular location is genuinely charming and always an enjoyable place to stop by. Which is likely the reason I’ve been here a dozen times on my trips to Sihanoukville. They earn 5 stars for the simple fact that they exist in such a pleasant spot.

What a place !!! Stopped by Brown Coffee in Sihanoukville and had a great experience! I ordered the frappe coffee and a croissant — both were delicious. The coffee was smooth and delightful, and the croissant was perfectly tasty. ☕🥐 Even though the service was a bit slow, it’s understandable since the place was really busy. What I loved most was the outdoor seating area facing the beach — amazing view and fresh sea breeze, perfect for relaxing. 🌊 The only downside was the bathroom, which wasn’t very clean, probably because it’s shared and open to the public. But overall, a lovely spot for a coffee break with a view!
