I had an awesome evening at Aura Cocktail Bar in South Edmonton and it quickly became one of my new favorite spots. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is perfect — the decor is stylish and modern with just the right touch of warmth and sophistication that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The music was spot-on too: a great mix that set a lively yet relaxed atmosphere without being overwhelming. It was easy to chat with friends while still enjoying the tunes. The food and drinks were excellent. The cocktails are creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor — I tried a couple and each one was a winner. The food menu delivered as well — fresh, tasty dishes that paired perfectly with the drinks. Everything came out well-timed and the service was friendly and attentive. Location-wise, it’s great — easy to get to in South Edmonton with convenient parking and just the right spot for a night out. Whether you’re looking for a date night, catching up with friends, or just treating yourself, Aura hits all the marks. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. Visited last Friday evening around 8:40 PM with a group of friends and we had a really nice evening. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were good, and the service was honestly the highlight of the night. Everyone who helped us was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately I didn’t get any names, but shoutout to the manager and one of the waitresses (I think she had blonde hair) for being especially kind and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, the service and atmosphere were excellent and made the experience enjoyable. The food was decent, but I think there’s still some room for improvement there. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely come back for the vibes and hospitality.

Go for the experience. Cocktails were wonderful. Great ideas. Going for upscale Indianish cocktail lounge. We managed to hit blues night, which was great for us. Some food wasn't as fresh as expected or didn't quite go together as well as expected. However, nothing was below a cocktail experience and everything had flavour... I'm a foodie, so I felt the love of something just about to be phenomenal, but not quite hitting.

The food is amazing. So far have tried half the menu in two visits. Always very happy and wishing I could eat more. But the drinks.......out of this world. Their signature cocktails are a performance in there selves. Not just delicious but comes with a whole production. Vibes are also great, live DJ putting out killer mashups. Perfect firva date night but simply a must check out at least once spot in Edmonton.

Great atmosphere, the service and drinks were stellar. Live music was great too. Great place for top shelf, unique cocktails and would definitely come back on a regular basis. Highly recommend! Try the caviar bump :)
