Chef Daniel Costa's daytime Italian café inside Citizen on Jasper

Va! is the grab-and-go half of a three-venue project from chef Daniel Costa, the daytime counterpart to Olia next door and Mimi after dark. Espresso and pastries carry the morning into a lunch menu that runs until 11am.

Ste Marie Studio designed the whole building as a day-to-night sequence, but Va! only ever plays the morning role. It's the most casual of the three, built for a quick stop rather than a table.
