One counter, two totally different rooms by night
By day this is a takeout counter for poke and maki, fast enough to eat at a desk. After dark it turns into a cocktail bar with late-night bites. Same address at Queen's Marque, a different personality entirely.
Lunch is where the real value sits. Come back after dark and you would barely recognize the room, low light instead of a takeout line, drinks instead of rice bowls.

New review Nov 2025: New menu, different. There were 3 other tables there. The server was funny, efficient and nice. Ordered the soju bomb (great, had a flavoured soju), the Vietnamese espresso martini and the tokio drift, great drinks, fast service. Complete 180 from when I came in the summer. Glad they improved everything ( there’s still a kimchi drink … maybe I’ll try it next time) it’s a great little space and it could be a really cute spot to hang out in July 2025: Understaffed (so slow, don’t come thirsty or hungry). Came in when there was only a table for 2 and a table for 6. Took 30 minutes to get shots!!?!??! Took another 15 to get our cocktails. Player 456 tastes like a dirty cutting board (a garlicky one) DONT GET IT. player 001 was good, mine never came but waiter comped us two shots. Cute spot but needs better service.

De La Dori is quickly becoming one of our favorite Asian-influenced restaurants in Halifax! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a team of staff who are not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Everything here is made in-house, and you can truly taste the difference. The attention to detail is unmatched, and the flavors are exceptional. One standout is their wasabi—it’s the best we’ve ever had! Fresh, vibrant, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. Whether you’re a fan of bold, authentic flavors or just looking for a unique dining experience, De La Dori is a must-visit. We can’t wait to go back!
