Tekarra Lodge

Jasper Opens June 2027

Booking a lodge that doesn't exist yet, on purpose

Book a stay at Tekarra Lodge for June 2027 and you're reserving a building that doesn't exist yet. The July 2024 wildfire destroyed roughly three quarters of the original lodge, main building and reception included.

Owner Maclab Development Group chose a full rebuild over a patch-up, registering for federal impact review in 2025. What comes back is rustic timber cabins and fireplaces on the same riverbank, managed by Coast Hotels.

Good to know

• Reservations opened in spring 2026 for stays from 1 June 2027, the first summer after the rebuild will book out early.
• It is a cabin property, not a hotel block: no lifts, no corridors, and the walk to town is along the river.
