Coffee by day, cocktails and grilled plates by night, right across from the university

Right across from Universidad de Concepción on Avenida Chacabuco, this one covers both shifts. Mornings mean coffee and lighter plates for the campus crowd; once the sun drops, it switches to a restobar menu of cheese-stuffed fried snacks, loaded fries and grilled tablas.

Chacabuco has plenty of student energy but few rooms that work at 9am and at 10pm alike. The cocktail list sticks to well-made classics, not experiments, which fits a place built for daily use rather than a big night out.
