Bookfail del Parque

Concepción Opened 9 August 2025

Discount books stacked inside a public library facing Parque Ecuador

A stack of books here costs what one hardback runs elsewhere. Bookfail has built a Concepción chain on new releases and overstock sold well under list price, and this branch put the model inside the José Toribio Medina municipal library on Víctor Lamas.

It's a small stand against a city that keeps losing bookshops, NuestrAmérica among them. Expect the same rolling offers as the chain's other branches, just with library shelves for company.

Good to know

• It is inside the José Toribio Medina municipal library building, facing Parque Ecuador.
• The recurring offers (ten books for ten thousand pesos, 2x1 on selected titles) are worth timing a visit around.
