Vinyl, signed records and a mural-wrapped space made for more than shopping

Rare pressings, signed records and a wall of vinyl, CDs, cassettes and DVDs: Casa Vinilo is the second shop from a guy who already had one on Caupolicán, and it goes deeper. A separate dealer inside covers rock and metal, and the hi-fi gear comes with someone who actually knows how it works.

The mural wrapping the storefront is local artist Erre's work. Upstairs rents out for cultural projects, downstairs hosts launches, acoustic sets and talks, with a café planned. The first Expo Vinilos happened here in February, and signings keep coming.

Good to know

• It is on Cochrane between Rengo and Lincoyán, the mural on the storefront is the marker.
• There is no home delivery: online orders ship to your nearest Chilexpress branch.
• Ask about the signed editions; a good part of the rare stock is autographed.
