One house, forty-odd Chilean design labels, zero chain-store feel

Casa Boa works less like a shop and more like a shared house in Barrio Italia. Over forty Chilean labels each hold a corner of it, so one room is prints, risographs and paintings, and the next is textiles, ceramics, candles and handmade stationery. The lineup shifts as brands come and go.

There's a café inside too, which is why people linger past a quick browse. Come for one label, leave having found five you didn't know you needed.

Good to know

• Wednesday to Sunday it stays open until 8pm; Monday and Tuesday it closes at 7pm.
• The prints and risograph room is the cheapest way to take something home, small runs, priced for it.
