Odisea Libros
Santiago Opened April 2025
Books and coffee in a Kulczewski house by Plaza Baquedano
Odisea Libros moved into the ground floor of Alameda 115, the Colegio de Arquitectos building designed by Luciano Kulczewski, a block from Plaza Baquedano. That corner spent six years as ground zero for Santiago's protests and lost most of its shops because of it. Setting up here was a deliberate bet on a block everyone else had abandoned.
Café Odisea followed later in 2025, so books and coffee now share the same address. Shelves sit on one side, brunch and long tables on the other. The shop calls itself a space for literature and critical thought, with launches and talks held in the same rooms.
Good to know
- Café Odisea shares the building, the pair open from 9am, and until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
- The building itself is a Luciano Kulczewski design and worth a look before you get to the shelves.
