Maraschino cocktails at the Hyatt Regency, straight from Zadar's own factory

Alfred's Bar opened with the rest of the Hyatt Regency Zadar in May 2025, built around a concept tied directly to the city's own industrial history. The name and the design reference the old Maraska liqueur factory, which has made maraschino from the marasca cherries grown around Zadar since the 1800s, and the cocktail list treats that liqueur as its main thread rather than one ingredient among many.

The bar runs coffee and light food through the day before shifting into cocktail-focused evening service, giving it more range than a typical hotel bar that only wakes up after dark. It shares the same harbor-facing building as Palm House and Fenix, making the Hyatt one of the few addresses in Zadar with three separate dining and drinking concepts under one roof.
