Irish pub near the main square, Guinness on tap and live music most nights

Zach's Pub sits just off the main square on Palackého náměstí, pouring draught Guinness and running gigs pretty much year round. The place spreads across a bar, a basement restaurant, and a courtyard that holds about a hundred people.

Live music is as much the draw as the beer, and it's been part of Plzeň's nightlife for years. Come summer, that courtyard is where everyone ends up.

many a beer was drunk here during our stay, the basement section is also very cool. Also, the staff here great!

One of our very favorite places!! We kept going back. We love the beers!! The atmosphere is great. Live music is fantastic. So many kinds of music. Cider bar also caught our attention and we tried so many!
