Daily menus and fresh sourdough from a wood-fired oven on Riegrova
Štipec is a small bistro on Riegrova, built around an open kitchen with a beech-fired stone oven. Sourdough comes out fresh every morning, and the menu changes daily based on what the suppliers bring in, cooked from seasonal, local ingredients.
Sometimes a dish, or the bread, sells out before lunch service ends. Hours are short and daytime only, a sign that this is about cooking a limited amount of good food, not feeding everyone.

Born to eat here, forced to eat Supermarket ramen. Absolutely amazing Food! The short-haired Waitress gave us a great experience there! A+ Service!

Come here for something different. Exceptionally crafted food with modern flavours. Excellent service with great suggestions, yet don't feel pressured into having the recommendation; it is all amazing. I chose a starter and side dish together in lieu of a main and it all came out as requested together with my partner's main. Perfectly executed. It's not cheap but nor is it pricey. Go out of your way to get here.

Food was good, but didn’t match the online English menu which was very disappointing as those online dishes would have been preferred and were the reason we selected to dine here. There was a lot more fish which limited our main choices (pork or beef). That said, for what we had the watermelon salad was good, bread and smoked butter was ok and could be more smoky for our tastes. The banana desert was ok, and while I could have used more ripe banana flavor my wife enjoyed the chocolate elements a lot. The pork belly was the star and I would come again just to have that dish. Perfectly prepared. The wait staff was friendly and helpful so 5 stars to them. Prices were reasonable given the ratings, yet a bit high for the area. Make a reservation. We saw people turned away.

after 3 days dinner in štipec just falling in love with the delicious food, feeling home atmosphere and the bottom of the heart service by Friendly waiter (Honza) 🫡🤗😘I wish this fabulous restaurant moved to my city, so I will booked every single dinner 365 times a year 🥰❤️😘🥰❤️😘🥰❤️😘
