Slunečnice is a bistro on Jungmannova in Plzeň, built around a menu that changes daily and leans vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Ingredients come from Czech farms, and the cooking is lighter than what you'll find at most tables in town.

Lunch is the main event here, cooked fresh each day. In a city where meat and dumplings are the default, this fills a real gap without making a fuss about it.

I highly recommend this place. I had orange juice and pulled turkey poke bowl. Hands down one of the best meals in plzen. Not to be missed.

This was one of the two options that the Tourist Information center gave me. They have a well indicated menu and the waitress understood very well my dietary restrictions. The dish I took was very good. Well presented, tasty and fresh. Very recommendable. Unfortunately, I couldn’t eat any desert because, as far as I understood, all had lactose.

I was in this bistro 2 days ago after long time,.it was surprise for me, wonderful restaurant/bistro for a healthy lunch. I had salmon steak with potatoes, was amazing. I took my foods upstairs ;) Downstairs fast food, upstairs sitting in a restaurant, but you can also get food there from the bistro and it's always fast, the service is nice, the environment is pleasant. I will go back again, for sure I’ll share pictures as well . I highly recommend this place!

A diverse menu, offering a multitude of options for both traditional Czech and international cuisine. Vegetarians are not left out, as there are plenty of choices available for them as well. The cozy and inviting ambiance of the restaurant creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing meal. The friendly and courteous staff provide excellent service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it's an excellent place to indulge in delicious food while enjoying a pleasant atmosphere and great service.
