Pintxos, taramasalata and panisse land next to vermouth tonics and negronis at this corner bar in the old Cafe Høegs room. The team behind it has roots at Osteria 16, Camour and the shuttered Contento, and it shows in how honest the plates taste.

We went out to eat at bar solis the other day, as we had heard the food was good in both taste and price - and it was! 🙌🏻❤️ We ordered one of their two regular main courses: Crispy fried chicken with potatoes, peppers and 'nduja blanquette 🍗 together with their Foccacia 😋 both tasted great 👍 then we also got Fried panisse with ravigote and toast with manchego cream, oyster mushrooms and serrano 🍞🥓🍄‍🟫 these are also recommended. The service was fast, the atmosphere was good, there was no space outside, but plenty of space inside 🤗 In addition, we were told that every Wednesday there is a dish of the day for only 95kr, so we have to stop by again 😉

We found the place by chance. Reviews gave me a stronger expectation of the food than what we got. Maybe it was a bad day for the kitchen. Party afterwards was great.
