A sommelier-run wine bar for people who'd rather watch the match
Bar Sportif opened in 2025 on Gammel Mønt, founded by sommeliers Mikkel Mørkeberg and Marc Hald around an unlikely pairing: serious wine next to whatever football or other popular sport happens to be on.
The format splits the difference between a proper wine bar and a sports pub, cocktails available for anyone who'd rather not commit to a glass of Burgundy during a match.

Perfect for someone who is into sports performatively. They serve something that I would characterize as comfort food (and they prepare it and present it really well). Be prepared that it comes with a price tag and you will pay 85 for a beer.

First time and already know it will not be the last. Great - small - nice place with a really nice atmosphere. Great service and the best ‘bar-food’ we’ve ever had. Do not expect burgers and fries - that is also why we loved it. The albondigas and sandwich…. Yumyyyy! You might think about making a booking if you want to be sure having a Seat.

Was at Bar Sportif one evening for beer, food and football. I think my experience was good. I had booked a table for 5:30 pm and was placed upstairs. I think it was definitely cozier downstairs, but it was also very nice to sit by their kitchen. Service was a bit so/so. I waited at least 15 minutes to order my first beer, after trying to catch someone's attention. Their wings were so good, delicious with label rouge and completely juicy. I really think their blue cheese dip was perfect, and not too strong, it can be a bit delicate. We tried all 3 sandwiches and they were all good. Their best was definitely the rub, it was sitting right in the cupboard. Their meatball was also super good, but I think it just gets a little soggy with the untoasted brioche. We also had a delicious waffle with salted caramel for dessert, nothing bad to say about it. All in all, a good experience. I probably have a personal preference that I like the bread best when it's toasted, for me it lacks a bit of crunch. But super cozy place, will definitely go back and dive into that wine list

Great spot to get on top of your hangover. Had a meatball sandwich and a Bloody Mary out of this world. Also the setting is excellent.
