Kafr Abdo is villas and quiet side streets, not a food destination, which makes Coff an odd little landmark. The menu stays tight and specialty-focused, drinks running EGP 60-90, more neighbourhood coffee bar than place you'd cross town for.

Its arrival tracks a bigger shift in Alexandria's coffee scene: newer openings moving off the Corniche and into residential streets, chasing where the city's younger crowd actually lives rather than the best sea view.
