Rooftop views over Saad Zaghloul Square, sea and all

Climb to the roof of the old Ramses Hotel building and the whole square opens up below, with the sea beyond it. That view is the reason to come, not the drinks menu, which sticks to standard specialty-cafe fare.

Saad Zaghloul Square is the historic heart of Raml Station, ringed by Alexandria's oldest hotels and patisseries. Rose Paris gives that stretch a rooftop it never had before.
