Manila-style chunky cookies land in Kallio

The cookies are thick, underbaked and stupidly good, especially the Dubai chocolate one. Dory's Doughters built a following on that single format before it ever had a storefront, running as a home-kitchen delivery operation across Helsinki.

Now it has a small shop on Kolmas Linja in Kallio: a counter, a short menu of cookies and cakes, nothing else. Delivery-first, retail second, which is rare for a Helsinki bakery.

Ube drink was exceptional, taste like ube and has real ube. Ube custard cake tasted like home. Would definitely come back to try the cookies and other drinks.

We stumbled onto this during a sunny afternoon and found the best cake! Honestly the best chocolate cake I've had in Helsinki with the perfect fudge frosting. The ube custard cake was amazing, so fluffy with a delicious pudding layer! We had a nice chat with the owner too, it was a great little afternoon stop!
