Maison César opened at 33 avenue de Fontcouverte on April 28, 2026, just off the roundabout near Lac de Saint-Chamand. It's the latest outpost of a family-run artisanal bakery group expanding into Avignon, built from day one around a wider food concept than a classic boulangerie.

Bread, viennoiserie and pastries share counter space with sandwiches, takeaway dishes, salads, pizzas and rotisserie items. For Fontcouverte, a mixed residential and commercial pocket on the edge of Avignon, that means one address covers breakfast through dinner instead of a morning-only bakery run.
