Every cocktail here leans floral, named for the poppy
Coquelicot means poppy in French, and the drinks list backs it up: aromatic, floral flavors run through nearly every glass instead of the usual classics-and-signatures split. Cocktails run 7 to 12 euros, tapas 8 to 10.
The bar sits in the Guillotière, a historically multicultural district on the edge of the Presqu'île whose bar scene has grown fast in recent years. It's a narrower, more consistent idea than most Lyon cocktail bars attempt.

This is my second time visiting this bar, and I'm still not disappointed. The decor is truly magnificent, and the owner is superb and very attentive. I love this place and plan to return again and again!

A wonderful discovery in the neighborhood! I loved the cozy and beautifully done decor in both the upstairs and downstairs rooms. The cocktails are refined and original. What a pleasure to enjoy delicious mocktails; I even got to try the poppy syrup! The tapas for sharing are well-prepared and so tasty. I wanted to thank you for your warm welcome. We left with some seeds to plant—I think it's a brilliant idea—and a poppy-flavored treat at the register. An experience I highly recommend ❤️
