Riverside grill tables under the trees, built for weddings and big groups

Bagineti sits right against the river on Aghmashenebeli Street, a grill restaurant built around outdoor seating under the trees more than any specific menu. The kitchen keeps to straightforward Georgian grill food, and the setting does most of the work: tables scattered along the bank with the Mtkvari a few meters away.

It's a regular booking for weddings and larger groups, so service can slip once a big event has the kitchen at capacity. Go for the river view, not a fast meal.

We had a great experience here! Everything we ordered was delicious the Caesar salad with shrimp, cocktails, khinkali, and kebab were all perfect. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My favorite part was the view of the Mtkvari River. Sitting so close to the river made the whole experience even more special. The restaurant has a beautiful design, a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only suggestion I have is to add the option to leave a tip when paying by card. We really wanted to tip our waiter because the service was excellent, but we couldn’t since there wasn’t a card tipping option. We’ll definitely be back!💖

Great place for lunch, good variety of dishes on the menu, interesting things in addition to regular Georgian food. For example chicken Kiev was outstanding, not any worse than I had in good restaurants in Kiev. Service was good, their homemade lemonade was great. Enough parking spots available when we visited too, so easy to park. I will definitely visit again.

Spent the New Year here along with a lot of people... The food was good. The best one is the grilled salmon next is the risotto, the grilled mushrooms and the fried chicken in garlic sauce.
