NRW's first butcher shop where nothing is actually meat

Roasts, sausages and cheese alternatives sit in the deli case here just like at any neighbourhood butcher, counter service and cuts sold by weight included. A few of the roasts are 3D-printed, engineered to mimic the grain of real meat rather than just its taste.

It's North Rhine-Westphalia's first shop selling nothing but plant-based products in a straight-up butcher format, on the Venloer Straße in Ehrenfeld.

Had a sandwich, tasted great, also very kind people working there and nice clean shop, definitely recommend if you're in Köln.

It's really cool that something like this exists. We were given a great introduction to the offerings. The staff was very friendly and explained everything to us. You can buy unpackaged food from the counter, and you can even try it beforehand. They also have hot meatloaf in a roll. It was delicious.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Today I stumbled upon the vegan butcher shop in Cologne quite by chance – and what can I say? It was absolutely worth it! 😊 As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and offered me helpful advice. They were really friendly and took the time to show me the many different products. The selection is impressively large and incredibly diverse. I especially loved that I was allowed to sample some items – it was a great way to discover new products. The taste really surprised me: everything I tried was delicious and of very high quality. 😋 To finish off, I treated myself to a Leberkäse roll – and it was simply fantastic! 🥪 Overall, a really lovely shop with a great atmosphere, a wide selection, and very friendly service. I discovered lots of new things and will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 👍

My daughter is vegan, and she convinced me to shop here. We had delicious vegan meatloaf with sweet mustard and vegan currywurst on-site. I also picked up some things from the deli counter to take home. Highly recommended!
