A vinyl-only listening bar under a classic car museum
Slomo runs on the Japanese kissaten idea: a high-end sound system, a spare room, music treated as the reason to be there rather than background noise. Records only, no streaming, in the basement of the Prototyp classic car museum in HafenCity.
It's a café by day, matcha and coffee, then turns into a cocktail bar by evening with a jazz-leaning programme, still entirely on vinyl.

Very nice place. Great and balanced sound from the JBLs and very nice stuff. Good luck!

This is the best bar for coffee and drinks in the evening. The records are playing and the vibe is amazing! I think in Hamburg maybe in Germany there is nothing comparable

We had a great time here. The staff are really nice, delicious drinks and great music. Atmosphere is good, people hanging out there at the same time were cool and chill. Several couples chilling together on the sofas. Lovely place that I’ll be coming back to.

Positively impressed by the overall experience and atmosphere at Slomo. Felt immediately welcomed in the space when we walked in. Visited for coffee and cake on a Sunday afternoon and found the service to be attentive but not intrusive. We were brought a carafe of water without asking for it. Drinks and snacks were prepared with care. Music selection and sound quality was stunning. One gets the impression that the team works well together and enjoys what they are doing. Slomo is located in a spacious basement space which feels cozy but still airy, elevated.
