Neapolitan-style pizza on a Reudnitz backstreet
Volare opened on Breite Straße in Reudnitz with a short menu built around slow-fermented dough, imported Italian flour and toppings that shift with the season. The room is small and informal, wine and Aperol Spritz sitting next to the pizza list.
It's open Wednesday through Sunday from 5pm, walk-ins only. The ovens run hot enough that tables turn fast even when the place is full.

the Valami pizza is disappointing. for a dedicated vegetarian pizzaria, we expected a better salami alternative. the dough is good but the rest is okay.

We really enjoyed our dinner date at Volare. There is lovely background music, the service is very attentive and friendly and the pizza is tasty. Unfortunately it is a bit pricey for students which is the only thing we criticize. Otherwise we really recommend the place and would definitely come back. There is also an Italian Disco special on Friday. They play music and offer three aperol spritz for 15€ in total.
