Stuttgart's first Ukrainian restaurant, in the Heusteigviertel

Artur Maltsev and Natalie Duchenko opened Töpfle in the Heusteigviertel in August 2025, three years after fleeing the war. It's Stuttgart's first dedicated Ukrainian restaurant, and the open kitchen turns out warenyky, borscht, Kyiv cutlet and pelmeni, cooked to their grandmothers' recipes.

The name comes from the small ceramic pots traditionally used to serve Ukrainian food. Open Tuesday to Thursday 11:30am-9pm, Friday to Sunday 11:30am-10pm.
