Wine, cocktails and small plates from a Künstlerhaus chef, steps from Marienplatz

Brother Louis opened in the old Madagascar space near Marienplatz in October 2025, run by Uwe Heine and Tobias Lindner, both alumni of Jigger & Spoon. A long counter from a Norwegian design studio anchors the 100-seat room, all dark wood and muted blue-green tones.

The kitchen, led by Konstantin "Coco" Kuld from Künstlerhaus, sticks to five or six small plates a night. Wine comes from organic producer Höfflin's "Le Juicy" label, cocktails include a Whisky Sour with pomelo and Riesling Kabinett, and Kölsch flows on tap.
