Grilled fish and oysters on the Diogenous piazza
Psari means simply "fish" in Greek, and the menu doesn't overcomplicate that. Grilled oysters and simply prepared fish, no tasting-menu theatrics, on Pavlou Mela in the small restaurant cluster around Diogenous.
It opens at 1pm, putting it in the same lunch window as Diogenous 1 a few doors down, though the two plates couldn't be more different. Call ahead, they don't take app bookings.
Good to know
- The grilled oysters with fresh herbs are the opener most tables start with.

Truly one of the nicest restaurants in the city, if not the nicest. The food was all delicious and balanced, great quality in all their ingredients! If you visit, definitely choose the sea bass carpaccio, the sea bream tartare and the spaghetti with cuttlefish ink. The staff is polite, with a lot of knowledge on the subject!

The ultimate gastronomic destination in Larissa. An exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was impeccable, the flavors balanced and the ingredients of high quality. The staff was polite, friendly and extremely helpful, creating a very warm atmosphere. The attention to detail and the willingness to offer a unique experience to their customers are truly remarkable. I will definitely visit again and I highly recommend it to fish and seafood lovers. I promise that it will satisfy even the most demanding gourmets!

Exceptional. Now I get the 5 out of 5. I wondered how a fish restaurant could earn a perfect score, then I tasted the food. Freshest seafood I've ever had, beautifully done, and unlike anything I'd tried before. The rating is earned.
