Bakery by day, wine bar by night, on Platonos
Same counter, two lives. Orbital bakes bread and pastry all morning on Platonos, then swaps the trays for glasses of wine after dark. The bar snacks come straight from that same oven, not from a supplier.
Platonos is a short street off Egnatia near the Kapani market, so sourcing is easy and fresh. The evening list runs mostly Greek, mostly by the glass.

Delicious pastries - fresh cherry and cream danish, coffee cream danish, cardamom bun, and savory zucchini and pesto pie.

great food and atmosphere! would definitley want to return for the watermelon & fish dish - that was 🤯🥰 and so is the ice cream 🥹 but there is so much more to try and they have a whole cellar full of natural wines!!

We tried the cardamom and cinnamon buns and they were delicious, spongy (not dry) and very tasty

A stylish wine bar with a cool vibe and music, offering natural wines and unique flavors. A great spot downtown.

Stopped by Orbital while passing through and was immediately drawn in by the desserts displayed in the window — they looked exceptional. Unfortunately, they were being taken away as it seemed the shop was closing for the day. I only managed to grab a cardamom bun, but it was very well executed: aromatic, soft, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. After reading the reviews and seeing what was on display, I’ll definitely be going back to try more properly next time. Then I will give the missing star on my review
