Atrio K'pe sits on 6a Calle across from Hotel Santo Tomas, close enough to the church atrio that gave the place half its name (k'pe means coffee in K'iche'). A sister branch runs in Santa Cruz del Quiche, but locals rank this one's espresso higher.

Crepes, desserts and smoothies round out the menu. The room itself reads warm rather than fancy, with cushioned seating and staff who remember regulars. It fills up fast around the Thursday and Sunday market crowds.
