A bar that feels like someone's living room, pets and all

Nook sits inside Caju Grove, a converted Goan villa, and stays deliberately small. Low tables cluster among thick greenery under soft light outside; a tight retro room holds mismatched furniture inside. Pets wander through as they please.

Arun Karkera runs the drinks list: light, sessionable highballs made for lingering. The Picante is the regular order, and the rest changes monthly based on what people actually drink. For food, there's hummus with chorizo butter, chana sundal, chicken cutlets, corn ribs, and a chorizo bacon pulao if you want something heavier.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere at Nook! It feels like a tropical escape hidden away from the hustle. The music was spot on, the cocktails were inventive, the food was great and the lighting creates such a mood. Can’t wait to come back for the next sundowner!

Nook has honestly become my go-to spot. I find myself there every second day, sometimes even more. It’s easily one of the chillest places I’ve come across. What Akanksha has created here is truly something special. It feels less like a bar and more like a neighborhood community space where everyone just belongs. The gigs they host are super out of the box and always such a vibe. The food is absolutely amazing, and I love how the menu is small, crisp, and thoughtfully curated. My personal favorite drink has to be the Picante, it never disappoints. I end up going to Nook at least three times a week, and honestly, if it were up to me, I’d be there every single day. Such a lovely place. I absolutely adore Akanksha and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Nook. It’s truly special.

Conveniently located close to but thankfully a safe distance away from the stomping grounds of Tourists-with-a-capital-T, Nook is primed to easily become your go-to spot in North Goa. It's my favourite bar for a reason. It's the cosiest space, great for an intimate hang but I've seen it just as easily transform into a buzzing venue for a lively celebration. Love their food and drinks - they are often adding creative and delicious items to their menu. Owner is also very chill and has two adorable dogs! She regularly hosts interesting events, from music gigs to food pop-ups 🐈🐈‍⬛ Follow @nook_goa on IG to stay posted on these.
