A cocktail lab under the Begumpet metro
The metro rattles overhead while your drink comes out clarified or fat-washed. Oxymorons sits inside a heritage building on the Country Club grounds, right under pillar C1405 of the Begumpet line, and calls itself a cocktail lab for a reason.
That location is the oddest thing about it, and exactly why it feels nothing like the Jubilee Hills crowd. Opens at 5pm. Ask what just came off the rotovap.

Oxy is everything they claim to be. I’ve been here twice now, and both times the service has been exceptional. Rohit’s energy is unmatched. You genuinely feel like a guest being welcomed into someone’s home rather than a customer at a bar. My boyfriend and I recently did a private mixology session with Rohit, and it was such a fun, memorable experience. Since it was a surprise, the team went above and beyond, putting up photos and messages from our friends and thoughtfully curating the entire session around our relationship. It felt incredibly personal and special. Of course, the cocktails are fantastic, but what really stands out is the attention to detail and the warmth of the team. And while food may not be their primary focus, everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The chilli chicken tsatsiki is my absolute favourite.

One of the best cocktail experiences in Hyderabad. The food menu is limited and portions are on the smaller side—likely due to the compact kitchen—but everything is thoughtfully curated and delicious. The ambience and music really elevate the overall experience.

Brilliant cocktails (we had many, many) and pretty decent food. Loved the ambience and service as well - particularly the idea of someone curating your evening for you. Lovely folks running this place.

Great experience at Oxymorons. Rohit did a really good job of taking us through the unique drinks menu. Definitely ask for the off the menu recommendations (loved the mezcal blend) Food proportions were a little small, but everything tasted amazing. Will be back again!
