Breakfast at a sensible hour is rare in central Kolkata. The Atrium fixes that, running from 7am straight through to 11pm.

Pastries and a proper coffee programme own the morning, then the room shifts into an after-work bar by evening. Two people eat for around Rs 1,400. Little Russel Street stays quiet enough to grab a table outside.

    This is a wonderful little cafe near Ho Chhi Minh Sarani/ Little Russel Street. Earlier it was smaller, but now they have expanded and the number of tables have increased. This cafe is a very good example of efficient use of small space. The cafe is shaped like a train compartment...like its long and narrow. But not congested. The food items are good and service exceptional. I have visited a few times and every time the taste and preparations have been wonderful. They open very early (like 7:00 AM) and its a great time to have a leisurely breakfast with the newspapers.

    The ambience is really cozy, it's surrounded by windows though so won't recommend it if it's sunny outside. Definitely try the Tiramisu and the Mexican Bowl ( if you can eat your veggies )

    Quality of food and ambience was amazing, great experience, light and dim atmosphere to spend quality time with family, friends. Food was very much tasty, serving with care, handled by extra effort. My first visit 5/5.

    Unexpectedly the place is very aesthetically appealing and very photogenic decor. Food was great and fantastic. Must try pizza with sourdough base.
