Six-bedroom bungalow with a private pool, all yours, on the edge of Lucknow

Basti House doesn't rent by the room. The whole bungalow on Dayal Farms in Malhaur goes to one group at a time, up to fourteen guests across six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and nine beds, with a pool, garden, terrace and a fireplace in the living room.

That scale makes it a regular pick for family gatherings and pre-wedding functions, not just holidays. Breakfast is cooked to order. The catch is distance, Hazratganj and the old city are a long drive west.

Good to know

• It only lets as a whole house, six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, up to fourteen people.
• It is out past Gomti Nagar Extension on Deva Road, so plan on driving everywhere.
