An alley cafe whose moringa ice cream is a first for the city
Binara House opened June 1, 2025 down a narrow alley off Jalan Sekepanjang, easy to miss unless you already know the address. The pull is the ice cream case, built around a creamy matcha alongside a moringa flavor that, as far as the cafe and early reviewers can tell, nobody else in Bandung had put on a menu before.
Coffee sits alongside the ice cream rather than competing with it, and the space itself stays narrow and unfussy, more a corridor with tables than a designed hangout. It's the kind of opening that works because of one distinctive item rather than a full concept, which is also why it's worth the walk down the alley.
