Golden hour is the whole point here. ZERU sits nine floors up at Padma Hotel, with a straight sightline toward the Java Sea and a grill running on live fire for the dinner crowd that shows up after.

It's the newest name in Semarang's rooftop scene, up against older spots like Layang Layang and the Heights, but it's already the one locals mean when they say "the sky bar." Get there before 5pm to grab a rail seat.

The service is impeccable, the views are great and the atmosphere is amazing. They gave complimentary drinks too. However, the steak and food require more refining. We ordered dry aged steam that didn’t taste dry aged because it was cooked with rosemary. The portion size for the chicken and appetizer was tiny, too. We ordered 3 menus for 2 pax and left still feeling slightly hungry.

The food was very delicious, ambience nya oke bangett. and also full service bgtt thanks to mas dito (salah 1 staff zeru) karna bener2 helpful banget untuk celebrate my special momentt!!! love ittt!!!
